Paste Button Help

There are three methods available for pasting content from the clipboard into the editor.  Notice the three paste icons on the tool bar in the editor:

  The default Paste method and can be dangerous to use since it brings in "unfiltered" characters that could cause formatting problems.

  The Paste as Plain Text method pastes text only and will remove any formatting that may be associated with the original content.

  The Paste from Word method safely inserts content from MS Word.  It allows formatting that is suitable for the editor but filters out Word-specific formatting that may cause problems. 

If unexpected things happen when you paste, try to paste again with one of the other methods. If in doubt, use the Paste from Word method.
