Searching Your Site
Every EditMe site includes a built-in site search. You can use this to search the contents of your site to find pages that contain certain words.
The site search only searches page content of the current version of each page. It does not include page comments, attachment descriptions, or attachment content. EditMe plans to update the search engine to resolve these problems in a future release.
Users who do not have access to view a given page will not be able to find that page in the search results. Additionally, if the page doesn't have a Page Title or has the Hide Page page property set, it will not appear in search results.
Search Tips
- If your search term is found on 50% or more of your sites pages, it will be ignored.
- Search for apple* to find pages containing apple, apples, applesauce, and applet.
- Search for apple banana to find pages that contain at least one of these words.
- Search for "apple juice" to find pages containing the phrase apple juice.
- Search for +apple +banana to find pages that contain both of these words.
- Search for +apple banana to find pages that contain apple, and of those, list pages that contain banana at the top.
- Search for +apple -banana to find pages that contain apple, but not banana.
